Tell us about yourself and the company
I’m the head of Organizations and Methods and also working as a Project Manager. My job responsibilities include coordinating the implementation of projects and procedures. Our organization is called Hospital Alemán and turns 140 years old this August. It is located in Buenos Aires, and it has 240 beds in individual rooms, 11 operating theaters, a coronary unit, adult and pediatric intensive care units, burn area care and a transplant area. There are around 2,000 employees currently working at the hospital.
We have two software teams within the hospital that include programmers and system analysts. Our main job is to develop our core Hospital Information System (HIS), and we are also in charge of purchasing peripheral solutions for the hospital.

We just recently discovered Tempo Timesheets on the Atlassian Marketplace.
How long have you been using Tempo Timesheets?
We have been using the Tempo Timesheets for four months now, so we are a relatively new users and still exploring its functionality.
Were you previously using any other tools for time tracking, resources planning, and project management? If so, what prompted you to make the switch to Tempo?
No, we weren’t previously using any other tools. But we have found Tempo Timesheets to help manage staff productivity.
How do you use Tempo Timesheets?
We use Tempo Timesheets to manage what tasks programmers and system analysts should invest their time on. It’s very useful for us to see at a glance any deviations from our plans.
What main purpose(s) would you say Tempo serves for your organization?
We mainly use Tempo Timesheets for project management, resource planning, and team planning.
What would you say has been the biggest change in your organization since you’ve started using Tempo Timesheets?
Tempo Timesheets has helped us improve control of all our tasks (program, analysis, procedures, etc.) by focusing on how people waste time on secondary tasks, and preventing recurrence of this. We read the summary screens with the sum of hours for our users, and from there we localize any deviations from our plans, and act quickly to correct them.
How would you say your employees are feeling about using Tempo Timesheets?
Nobody likes entering time, but the staff find it very easy to work within Tempo Timesheets. Seriously, using Tempo Timesheets is the best way to monitor and increase productivity.

I would recommend it.
