Atlassian Summit has always been an exciting time for us here at Tempo. This year, we’re thrilled to be able to give back at Atlassian Summit in more than one way!
Pledge 1% to Room to Read
Last year, we announced our participation in the Pledge 1% movement at Atlassian Summit to formalize our commitment to social impact, good corporate citizenship, and giving back. We, at Tempo, have always believed in empowering others through education and are a proud partner of Room to Read.
Room to Read is a non-profit organization aimed at improving literacy and gender equality through education in the developing world. Founded by former Microsoft executive, John Wood, Room to Read invests in nearly one million children every year and aims to invest in the lives of at least 15 million children by 2020.
As part of our pledge, Tempo donates:
- Free server licenses for Open Source projects and discounted licenses for academic institutions
- All proceeds from our Tempo’s Starter License Program – $10 for 10-user starter licenses for JIRA Server
To date, we have donated over $75,000 to Room to Read, which has impacted more than 1,500 children worldwide.
Room to Read recently published a children’s book, Mom Became Happy, in honor of Tempo which is distributed in Room to Read libraries and schools in Nepal.
Becoming a Diamond Sponsor at Atlassian Summit 2016
Conferences are one of the best platforms to gain the latest insights and learnings within an industry’s ecosystem.
Over the past years, we have gained so much benefits from attending Atlassian Summit. Our Templings* always return bursting with new ideas, initiatives, and innovations to improve our flagships products – Tempo Timesheets, Tempo Planner, and Tempo Budgets. What’s not to love?
This year, we are proud to be a Diamond sponsor at Atlassian Summit in order to support their goals in improving and making our Summit experience a better one for everybody.
After all, we can achieve more with a collective power!
Since we’ve been placing so much emphasis on learning and education, we decided to give away a new iPhone 7 at Atlassian Summit.
