With 2016 coming to a close, we would like to say a huge Thank You to everyone who has made this year a success for us. While there are many things that we’re grateful for, here are definitely five things that top the list.
1. Significant year of product development and growth
Earlier in 2016, we released Tempo Timesheets 8.0 thus extending time tracking and reporting features for all JIRA teams. We also celebrated a new mobile app release for Tempo Timesheets and Tempo Planner users, which includes Office 365 calendar integration and integrated planning so users can quickly convert calendar events and plans into time logged on JIRA issues.
In the meanwhile, Tempo Planner got a slight face lift with its new Resource Overview feature to make planning even easier for teams. Tempo Folio, on the other hand, was rebranded to Tempo Budgets with an updated UI to make budgeting in JIRA even better. We have also moved our cloud add-ons to a new cloud technology to improve performance and stability for all JIRA Cloud customers.
2016 has been a very significant year of growth for Tempo. It was all about less hassle and more productivity.
2. Giving back to community
We have been a partner of Room to Read for more than six years now as part of our corporate culture of community service and philanthropic leadership to empower others within the global community.
To date, we have donated more than $75,000 to Room to Read through Tempo’s Starter License Program–$100 for annual 10-user starter licenses for Atlassian’s JIRA–which has provided approximately 1,800 children with education.
Room to Read recently published a children’s book, Mom Became Happy, in honor of Tempo which is distributed in Room to Read libraries and schools in Nepal.
With great growth comes responsibility and look forward to another year of being a partner of Room to Read!
3. Diamond sponsor at Atlassian Summit
Conferences are part and parcel of our learning here at Tempo so that our Templings* can return with new ideas, initiatives, and innovations to improve our flagships products.
This year, we decided to step up a notch as a Diamond sponsor at Atlassian Summit in order to support their goals in improving and making our Summit experience a better one for everybody!

4. Our wonderful Tempo Partners
As every year, our Tempo Partners play a big part in our success by helping us expand our services to Tempo users worldwide. Tempo Partners are Atlassian Experts, who resell our Tempo products alongside consultation and training as well.
Great things can be achieved with a collective power. Thank you for helping us grow!
5. A growing family
Our Tempo family continues to grow in 2016!
As of today, we have over 90 Templings sitting in our offices in Reykjavik, Montreal, and San Francisco, working towards the same goal of creating amazing things and experiences for our customers.
