For our Tempo Timesheets 7.16 release for JIRA, we’re introducing one of the most frequently requested features by our customers. Since its April launch in the Tempo Timesheets 7.12 release, our Worklog Calendar has been a huge success with our customers. We at Tempo strive to make good things even better, which is why we are thrilled to introduce the new Time View to the Worklog Calendar.
Time View in the Worklog Calendar for even easier time tracking
The Time View provides a new viewing option in the Worklog Calendar. The Time View displays as a weekly view and allows you to log work with a start time and get a better view of any overlaps or gaps in your timesheet and easily correct them. If worklogs overlap, they are shown stacked on top of each other during the overlap period. If there’s a gap between worklogs, users can clearly see a gap in the Calendar Canvas. You can choose between the Time View and the List View with the toggle button in the upper right corner, to the left of the Worklog Calendar button.
Worklogs can be added by clicking directly onto the Calendar Canvas or by dragging issues from the Suggestion Sections on the right. In the Suggestions Sections, you can see suggestions based on issues that have been recently worked on, recently viewed, assigned issues and internal issues. You can edit the duration of a worklog card by opening up the Log Work Form or with a simple drag-and-drop action. Here you can see a sample view of the new Time View, with overlaps and gaps.
Improvements in the List View
We have always valued the feedback we get from our customers and based on that feedback we have made improvements for the List View in the Worklog Calendar. With our Tempo Timesheets 7.16 release, all worklogs are now even sized, no matter the duration of a worklog. By having worklogs fixed in size, you can get a clearer view of your logged work.
