Press Release: Tempo Joins the Pledge 1% Movement, Makes Commitment to Integrated Philanthropy

Tempo will leverage 1% of product to improve communities around the world.

San Francisco—ATLASSIAN SUMMIT 2015—November 4, 2015—Tempo announced today at Atlassian Summit 2015 that it has joined Pledge 1%, a corporate philanthropy movement dedicated to making the community a key stakeholder in every business. Founded by Atlassian, Rally and the Salesforce Foundation, Pledge 1% empowers companies to donate 1% of product, 1% of equity, 1% of profit or 1% of employee time to improve communities around the world.

Tempo is joining a network of more than 450 entrepreneurs and companies across the globe that have committed to philanthropic efforts through the Pledge 1% movement. In 2010, Tempo launched its starter license program, donating license proceeds to the not-for-profit organization Room to Read. By pledging 1% of product and taking part in the Pledge 1% movement, Tempo seeks to further inspire, facilitate and encourage giving by other companies around the world to make a positive impact and make giving a priority.
