    Hi,

When will this add-on be available for Jira OnDemand?

    • Bjarki Bjarki says:

      Hi Joachim,

Unfortunately it looks like Tempo Planner OnDemand will not be available for the upcoming months. However we are working with Atlassian to make this hopefully happen as soon as possible. Stay tuned on our blog for more updates on this matter, http://blog.tempoplugin.com

      • Hi,
Regarding the TEMPO Planner not being available to Jira On Demand customers yet, can we export TEMPO populated data fields w/ an API and use the download Planner version?

        – Susan

        • Bjarki Bjarki says:

          Hi Susan,

Yes this is possibly but remember that you must also have all the same JIRA data in the same instance. This will mean running two systems and might be difficult to maintain.

We are however currently working on a Tempo Planner version for OnDemand and our target date is later in the year.

          Best regards,
          Bjarki

  2. Halvard Moe says:

When will this be available for Atlassian OnDemand?

  3. stefan says:

    Hi
I was just wondering if you had a timeframe in place for OnDemand release of Tempo Planner?
    is it days? weeks? months?

    • Jessie Jessie says:

      Hi Stefan,

Unfortunately, we can’t give any concrete date as to the availability of an OnDemand solution for Tempo Planner yet, but we are working with Atlassian to make this happen as soon as possible.

  4. Paul Spencer says:

Will tempo planner be available for OnDemand (and when)? Also, does tempo planner provide some support for per person capacity planning based on ticket assigments?

    • Jessie Jessie says:

      Hi Paul,

We are diligently working with Atlassian to provide an OnDemand solution for Tempo Planner as soon as possible, but do not yet have an anticipated release date. Tempo Planner lets you plan at the issue level per team member. Planning is possible based on projects, releases, sprints, epics in releases, and division of work to teams, including stories, tasks, sub-tasks, and other work items. We’ll be adding additional higher-level planning features soon. Hope that helps.

  5. Bert Boerman says:

When do you expect that Jira Planner will become available for Jira on demand?

    Thanks!
    Bert

    • Jessie Jessie says:

      Hi Bert,

Thanks for reaching out. We’re working on an OnDemand solution for Tempo Planner with Atlassian, but do not as of yet have an availability date — please stay tuned!

  6. Chris Pasley says:

Hi! This looks really awesome, but our team uses an OnDemand instance of JIRA. Will this be available there any time soon?

    • Jessie Jessie says:

      Hi Chris,

Great question. We’re working with Atlassian to provide an OnDemand solution for Tempo Planner as soon as possible, but as of now, we unfortunately do not have any concrete launch date.

      • Guido says:

        Hi guys,
I think Planner is an awesome product and game changer for us. I know that you have no specific issue date for an on-demand version. Perhaps you can give us a rough guide line. I mean are we talking about 3 months, end of this year or even next year etc.?
        Thanks.

  7. Peter says:

Ugh, this is frustrating. This is EXACTLY what I’m looking for and would buy it NOW for on-demand. Why is on-demand not the first iteration? That’s where Atlassian is putting all their future efforts so seems to me like that should be the focus of all the add-on products as well.

Anyway, nice product. Wish I could pay you for it.

    • Bjarki Bjarki says:

      Hi Peter,

Sorry to hear about that, We are working with Atlassian to make this hopefully happen as soon as possible but we do not as of yet have an availability date. Stay tuned on our blog for more updates on this matter, http://blog.tempoplugin.com

      Thanks

  8. Soraya Hosseini says:

We are really excited about Tempo Planner, however, like all the other comments, our company needs an OnDemand Version as well.
    It cant come sooner :)

    Thanks,
    Soraya

  9. sara says:

hi. it looks really great – and it’s exactly what I need! BUT on demand… so it’s very helpful to at least know the approximate date of release.

  10. Marko Žmak says:

    +1 for OnDemand version

  11. Stacey says:

+1 for OnDemand. Who at Atlassian do we need contact to voice our need to have this offered sooner than later?

    • Bjarki Bjarki says:

      Hi Stacey,

We’re working with a number of people at Atlassian and trying an OnDemand version for Tempo Planner as soon as possible.

  12. Janos Biro says:

The Planner is quite good… because one thing we could not buy it after evaluation…
It is OK that it handles Sprints as a whole (in thoery), but we must have an option to handle stories (actually tasks within stories) of a Sprint one by one and assign it to people… or else how can we use it for a Sprint capacity planning? We have to assign Design tasks to Designers, Frontend development tasks to Frontend developers… etc… so close but failed :(

    • Bjarki Bjarki says:

      Hi Janos,

We’re releasing Tempo Planner 1.3 today which will include Sprint Backlog planning feature which allows Team leads to assign tasks within a sprint to designer, frontend developers and etc.

We encourage you to try the 1.3 release of Tempo Planner

      Best regards,
      Bjarki

  13. Phil says:

    Hello,

Just wondering if there is any updated on the on demand version?

    Cheers

    • Bjarki Bjarki says:

      Hi Phil,

Our engineering team is working hard on building and adjusting Tempo Planner for the Atlassian Cloud environment. We are also in contact with Atlassian about this, as Tempo Planner needs to use Atlassian Connect to access the Cloud instances. We do not yet have an exact release date for Tempo Planner for Cloud but we are aiming to launch in May 2015 unless we encounter unexpected problems.
Please sign up for our Tempo Planner Cloud waiting list to get the latest news and updates on this expected release.

      Best regards,
      Bjarki
