Rounding out JIRA as a complete professional services solution for your business
You may have noticed some changes around Tempo lately. Earlier this year, we launched a new website and blog, replete with a cleaner, more navigable look. At the same time, we announced two new products, Tempo Planner and Tempo Books, and introduced our new Tempo branding. Now, we’re getting ready to launch Tempo Timesheets 7.8 and 8.0, two of our biggest, most dramatic releases to date, with a re-vamped definition of Teams and Accounts, which will then carry forward to our new Tempo products. We’re also announcing another new planned add-on for JIRA, Tempo Attendance. So, what’s up with Tempo, and have we been drinking too much glacier water?
The short answer is no, not really. We’ve been really hard at work over evolving our current time tracking and planning add-on, Tempo Timesheets, to add more customization, more business intelligence, and better navigational capabilities, while also building new products that respond to feed- back from our customers.
Here’s the lowdown on what’s near:
Our 7.8 and 8.0 releases introduce ad hoc timesheet and reporting capabilities to our Tempo Timesheets add-on for JIRA, better filtering and customization capabilities, Tempo Teams and Accounts improvements, and better analytics.
Our new Tempo Planner add-on for JIRA is in beta now for early access users, and will soon be available through the Atlassian Marketplace. This new add-on provides deeper Agile resource planning capabilities, JIRA Agile integration, and and business analytics to help businesses plan for and manage their projects more transparently and efficiently.
Tempo and JIRA aren’t just for development teams anymore! Our new Tempo Books add-on for JIRA will be in beta soon for early access users, and will be launched through the Atlassian Marketplace shortly thereafter. This new add-on enables teams to flexibly budget costs, designate rates, and manage actual costs and expenses for client billing. It also provides business analytics with real-time and ad hoc data for adjustments, forecasting, and analysis.
Our newest addition to the Tempo family is our Tempo Attendance add-on for JIRA, a personnel information tool that provides businesses with a quick overview of staff presence at any given time, helping to build smoother communication among your teams. Get information if your employees are on the office, working remotely, or otherwise unavailable. Customizable statuses let employees personalize their communications with their teams more effectively.
