Introducing the New Tempo Tees

We are really excited to show off this year’s Tempo t-shirts, which we designed specifically for the Atlassian Summit in San Francisco — which starts tomorrow!

The inspiration for this year’s shirt derives from the old motivational poster produced by the British government in 1939 at the beginning of World War II, which was intended to boost the morale of the country’s citizenry in the event of an invasion. The poster was never used, and was only recently discovered in 2000. Since then, it has been reprinted and parodied in a variety of different ways.

We like the simplicity of the message, the boldness of the color, and the elegance of the font and the crown used in the original campaign, so we decided to create our own updated version. The result is a message that is representative of the cyclical nature of the Agile methodology and our product: Track, Plan & Adapt, then start again. We hope you like it!

The good news is that we’ll be giving these tees away throughout Summit — starting tomorrow, come visit us at Booth 22! — where we will also be demoing the new Tempo 7 and sharing some Icelandic chocolates.
